Cheap Butterfly Knives

If you’re in the market for a cheap butterfly knife, well of course you can run down to your local swap meet, and probably pick one up for something like $15.00 new in the box. The problem I have with doing that is you’re getting a knife that cost about $2.50 to produce over in China, most likely from some type of sweat shop or something like that.

If you want to get the best bang for your buck then you want to do a little research on the internet, there are a lot of good knife sites out there now. I have a couple of sites that I have been using in the past when I want to buy cheap butterfly knives for my buddies or something like that. What I always look for is who makes it, and what components are in the knife. It’s ok to buy a cheaper made knife, you don’t always have to buy name brand, but you still want to make sure your getting a good deal for you hard earn money.

Here a few things you want to look for when buying cheap butterfly knives.

• What type of steel did they use for the blade, if it’s a ats32 or higher your good to go.


• As for the handles, you don’t want cheap steel for those, you want aluminum or even titanium but then the price goes up.


• As for the bolts and hardware you don’t want a low quality like a grad one, you want at least a grade three or higher on those.

If you’re able to follow at least those few easy steeps then you know you’re getting a good cheap butterfly knife, that probably cost some were in the $15.00 range, and you’re paying like $25.00 to $30.00 each.
